about the artist
For Ana Alberca, the dry tip technique offers the perfect register for the pure lines and the definition of series with a strong minimalist charge. The simplicity of this technique drives her to generate irregular openings that, from the geometry, lead to the plasticity of the symbol.
Very influenced by red and black colours; she uses them to dress the nudity of the lines and to remember the oriental tradition devoid of superfluous elements.
